Previously deforested land now owned by an indigenous community, totalling an area of 4,600 hectares with over 1,000 hectares designated as future forest areas to be reforested.
With community members responsible for producing and planting the trees, as well as selling the fruits of the agroforestry plants, providing economic benefits for the community as well as reliable income through profit sharing from the sale of CO2 certificates.

Our projects are based on principles of mutual respect, without forcing them into unfamiliar systems, integrating all needs and concerns into our planning so we can guarantee permanence.
The Yangil Tribe belongs to the Aetas people. Located in the mountainous areas of Luzon Island. Today most live in poverty and lack basic access to services such as health, education and housing - however, the Philippine government has taken some steps to improve the living conditions by granting them land rights to build their communities.
Holding a critical role in preserving the community’s heritage and culture, he is a keeper of the forest and key decision maker. Intimately knowing every tree in the region and working tirelessly to ensure the community’s growth and well-being.
His deep love for the community drives his dedication to preservation of the forest, knowing that their way of life depends on it. Creating a thriving and vibrant ecosystem, the commitment he shows to his role as steward of the forest serves as an inspiration to all.
